Owl Release Project

We will be starting our owl unit next week.  We will begin by doing an owl release project in which we will be looking at the habitats of several types of owls.  The websites I have attached to this blog may help in your research.

Welcome 2013-2014 5th Graders

Welcome to another great year here at West Lyon.  I hope you all had a great summer.  We have lots of fun things this year including our field trip (Oct. 1st) to lake Pahoja for the 5th grade outdoor campus.  We will also have farm safety day here at the school on Sept. 26th.  I will be using this blog for website links and reminders for our class throughout the year.  I am looking forward to meeting you all!
